We are making additional non-contiguous spectrum available in the UHF2 band (from 453 MHz to 466 MHz) for licences up to six months resulting from negotiations with the Emergency Services. Technically Assigned licences will be available until April 2022. There is no provision for Area Defined licences. The additional spectrum will be used to cater for simplex assignments primarily although requests for duplex assignments will be considered. If you require further information please contact kevin.delaney@ofcom.org.uk.
You can also apply by downloading a form and sending it to our office.
