Proposal to apply Code Powers to The Wireless Asset Company Limited - Statutory notification under section 107(6) of the Communications Act 2003

Purpose of consultation

We are proposing to apply the electronic communications code set out in Schedule 2 to the Telecommunications Act 1984 as amended (the “Code”) on terms proposed in this consultation to The Wireless Asset Company Limited whose registered company number is 5803392 (the “Applicant”). Further background about the Code (including the procedure that applies in this context) is set out in Section 2 of this document.

Our reasons for that proposal are set out in Section 3 of this document and our draft direction applying the Code to the Applicant is set out in Annex 1 to this document.

The closing date for responses is 16 December 2013 and stakeholders wishing to respond are directed to Annex 1 for information on how to respond to this consultation.
