Ofcom regulates video-sharing platforms (VSPs) that are established in the UK. A VSP is a service that allow users to upload or share videos with other people. We have a list of notified platforms to which these rules apply.
At the moment, we do not regulate:
- written content, such as comments or articles; or
- individual images or photos.
If your complaint relates to any content that is not a video, please complain directly to the service.
If you are complaining about any other online service that is not a VSP, you can make a complaint.
