Statement: Proposal to modify the terms on which the Code is applied to Fibrus Networks Ltd

We are proposing to modify the terms of the direction applying the electronic communications code (“the Code”) to Fibrus Networks Ltd.

In 2016, Ofcom gave a direction applying the electronic communications code to Fibrus Networks Ltd for the purposes of providing an electronic communications network and a system of infrastructure in London, within the M25 boundary. We have received a further application from Fibrus Networks Ltd to modify the terms on which the Code is applied to it so that its Code powers are extended to the rest of the United Kingdom.

We invite comments on our proposal by 22 August 2022. We will consider any responses to this consultation before deciding whether to confirm our proposal.
