Ofcom has given consent to ITV to broadcast live coverage of the Rugby World Cup Finals 2011. The events are due to take place in September and October 2011.

Ofcom received no adverse responses to the request for comments from interested parties.

The rules on listed events, including the criteria which broadcasters must meet in order to obtain consent, are set out in the Code on Sports and Other Listed and Designated Events.
