Statement: Local Television Network – Variation Requests on behalf of 17 local TV licensees

Having consulted on a proposal to approve local TV services requests and having carefully considered the submissions received from respondents, Ofcom has decided to approve the requests to amend the programming commitments for all 17 services.

This will result in a number of changes to the programming commitments for the services. Our reasoning for approving these requests is set out in the full document. These reductions may be implemented by the relevant licensees from today’s date.
