This statement advises that following consultation, on 3 June 2013 Ofcom has made the Wireless Telegraphy (Exemption and Amendment) (Amendment) Regulations 2013 (the ‘SRD Regulations’) and the Wireless Telegraphy (Exemption) (Amendment) Regulations 2013 (the ‘Handset and MSS Regulations’). These regulations will come into force on 26 June 2013.
