> Ofcom is the communications regulator in the UK. We regulate the TV, radio and video-on-demand sectors, fixed line telecoms, mobiles, postal services, plus the airwaves over which wireless devices operate.
 
Our duties come from Parliament. We are independent, and funded by fees paid to us by the companies we regulate. Under the Online Safety Act, Ofcom's job is to make online services safer for the people who use them.
