Ofcom has served notice that the conditions carried over from the previous regulatory accounting framework in respect of the reporting period ending 31 March 2004 have been discontinued in respect of BT and KCL. Ofcom is satisfied that both BT and KCL have met these conditions in full and provided all the information (financial and operational) required by these conditions.
In paragraph 2.13 of the Statement on the Regulatory financial reporting obligations on BT and Kingston Communications', published on 22 July 2004 Ofcom stated that it expected to issue relevant discontinuation notices in respect of the continued conditions as soon as all documentation required to be provided under them for the 2003/2004 financial year has been received and assessed for compliance with the condition requirements. This was further noted in Ofcom's Statement of 11 November 2004 on discontinuation of conditions and directions continued in July 2003.
