Accessibility statement for OPIR

This statement is for OPIR, Ofcom's Online Post Issue Registration tool, it applies to all web pages starting with secure.ofcom.org.uk/opir.

This website is run by Ofcom. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts
  • zoom in up to 200% without the text spilling off the screen
  • navigate some of the website using just a keyboard
  • navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
  • listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)

  • Drop-down fields ‘2 letter grid sq’ and ‘Terminal type’ are not in logical tab order
  • ‘Back to terminal list’ link is not in logical tab order
  • ‘Remove’ buttons are not in logical tab order
  • Focus indicator is not clear in Internet Explorer
  • Broken ‘skip navigation’ link on all pages
  • Web page is not resized when using browser zoom and horizontal scrolling is required
  • When zooming only text the ‘Notes’ box overlaps some help text
  • OPIR guidance PDF is not accessible
